𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬

The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has concluded its monitoring exercise with an exit meeting that reviewed progress in implementing the Commission’s Corruption Risk Assessment (CRA) recommendations and identified areas requiring further compliance.

The session, chaired by County Assembly Clerk Mr. Salim Juma, brought together departmental heads and the visiting EACC delegation led by Corruption Prevention Officer Ms. Sarah Kibaki.

In her remarks, Ms. Kibaki commended the Assembly’s leadership and staff for their cooperation, noting that the monitoring exercise had provided valuable insights to strengthen accountability and transparency. She emphasized the need for sustained commitment to anti corruption measures, urging departments to build on the milestones achieved.

Clerk Juma, in closing, lauded both teams for their constructive engagement and collaboration throughout the process. He described the successful completion of the monitoring exercise as a validation of the Assembly’s resolve to uphold integrity in its operations. He further added that the exit meeting marks a significant step in reinforcing compliance and advancing good governance in the fight against county level corruption.
