The Assembly has today adjourned its sittings pursuant to Standing Order 25(3) of the County Assembly Standing Orders for a short recess. The House is expected to resume its regular sittings on Tuesday, 3rd November, 2026, in accordance with the approved County Assembly Calendar.

The recess will allow Members and staff to participate in the upcoming County Assembly Sports Association (CASA) Games.

Members unanimously supported the adjournment motion, noting that the break will also provide them with an opportunity to engage with their constituents and allow adequate time to train and prepare for the games.
